Marsh Lane Development Site, King’s Lynn Calvert Brain and Fraulo Architectural Limited are currently working in partnership with Strutt and Parker for the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk to prepare an indicative scheme layout to accompany an application for Outline Planning consent on a 12.5 Acre site in central King’s Lynn. The scheme will facilitate high quality housing through up-to-date urban design complying with current Planning Legislation. The development of 169 dwellings is the culmination of months of hard work by the project team to produce a scheme that will hopefully enable planning permission to be obtained and also satisfy the local residents, who have recently been consulted – see press release and details of the consultation below.

19 Dwellings for Social Housing, Wisbech Rd, King’s Lynn Calvert Brain and Fraulo Architectural Limited have successfully secured planning permission for 19 dwellings intended to be allocated as Social Housing for local housing association Freebridge Community Housing. The development is proposed on the former KIA garage site along Wisbech Road, King’s Lynn which is within a stones throw of the Nar Ouse Regeneration Area. The proposal incorporates the various local and national requirements to be met for current social housing provision. Along with meeting all these legislative criteria this development will also take into account the latest Building Regulations and will be built to meet Level 3 of The Code for Sustainable Homes.
